Terms of Use for Atlas

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") before using Atlas ("the App"), operated by Camille Haïdar ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Atlas, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Apple Standard EULA

Your license to use Atlas is governed by the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), available at:

These Terms supplement the Standard EULA. In the event of a conflict regarding your license to use the App, the Standard EULA governs.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Atlas on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, sublicense, or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

3. Your Content and Photos

Atlas reads your photos and their metadata on your device to provide its features. You retain all rights to your photos. Atlas does not upload, share, or claim any rights to your photos. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Subscriptions (Atlas Plus)

• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Pricing: Prices are shown in the App in your local currency through the App Store and may change with notice; you will be informed before any renewal at a new price.
• Free trial: If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple and limited to one per Apple Account.
• Manage / cancel: You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
• Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be made to Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

ATLAS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that place names and locations shown will always be accurate.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAMILLE HAÏDAR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF ATLAS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including, for EU consumers, mandatory statutory rights).

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date above and post the revised Terms at the same URL where you accessed this document. Continued use of Atlas after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
